This is a gorgeous full length version of a vintage Japanese kimono. It is in very limited edition of 10 and is hand printed rather than press printed due to its length. Size 66" length by 23" width paper size.
Hand printed (see photo) at the bench, black ink on archival Japanese paper. It's a strong statement, very much contemporary but also a sense of 'Japanisme'. (per Wikipedia: From the 1860s, ukiyo-e, Japanese woodblock prints, became a source of inspiration for many Western artists.)
Shipped in a tube for free to collectors in the United States.
