Singing Cowgirl Redeux is inspired by Gene Autry, the singing cowboy, and his song, Back in the Saddle Again. This piece was shown at the 2025 Coors Western Art Exhibition in Denver.
When I sell out of an edition of my woodcut prints, I embrace the option of having the print transferred to canvas and then approaching this woodcut print on canvas as an original mixed media artwork. That's what I have done here.
The canvas is embellished with acrylic paint, and cotton embroidery details added to the original woodcut image.
Image size is 31"hx25"w. It is a variable edition of only 4, each of which is signed and numbered. Artwork is mounted to art board and ready to frame.
